Course Overview

MASH Unlocked: Diagnostics, Data & the New Therapeutic Era is a one-hour accredited educational program designed to improve clinician performance in the diagnosis, risk stratification, and management of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Rapid advances in disease nomenclature, noninvasive diagnostics, clinical trial data, and the availability of the first FDA-approved therapy have fundamentally changed the clinical landscape.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply updated MASLD/MASH nomenclature and noninvasive diagnostic algorithms to accurately identify and risk-stratify patients, leading to earlier intervention and appropriate referral.

  2. Incorporate clinical trial data and FDA-approved and emerging therapies into individualized treatment plans for patients with MASH to improve fibrosis-related outcomes.

  3. Implement practical, patient-centered management strategies—including metabolic risk modification and long-term monitoring—to optimize adherence and real-world treatment effectiveness.
